The Tactical ended up with 64 Dive/Rope Rescue runs for the year of 2007
The Tactical is already at 34 runs for 2007
The Old TAC - Out of Service - Will be used as a back up unit and for specialty dives and trainings.
The Tactical Unit is a 1994 GMC Utilimaster Box Truck that holds Tactical Rescue Equipment such as Dive Gear, High and Low angle Rope Rescue Gear, and technical rescue tools.
.The Boats are a 1999 Flat Bottom Alluminum Jon Boat and a 2004 Inflatable Zodiac
A new 40 HP Mercury with a mid mount driving panel and seat was added to the Jon Boat in 07'. The Panel makes the boat more managable and puts the pilot in the center of the boat for better visual control. If your unit is still driven by hand from the motor, we strongly suggest the mid mount panel and seat. The smaller picture above shows the pilot operating the old motor system form the motor, which puts him fixed to one side of the boat only.
